Wow. We go through this on a regular basis.
Jackets won't need any conditioner for 20 to 25 years as that is how long it takes for new high quality leather jackets to dry out. Maybe a small amount of Pecard on the inside of the collar after a few years as a prophylactic measure, but that's about it.
Stu's jackets are particularly manly, and may not need a treatment for much longer than the norm.
The oldest motorcycle jacket I have in my collection is a Pakistani jacket about 17 years old. Never had any conditioner put on it and it is still soft and supple and looks good to go for another 17 years in spite of being wet a few times.
My oldest leather jacket is no longer with me (from 1973) so I can't tell you its condition. As some of you will remember, an ex girlfriend took possession of that jacket and evidently made off with it. The stories of her wearing it are legion, but can't be repeated here (again).
There are a bunch of threads in this section dedicated to breaking in a stiff leather jacket. They might be helpful. Putting conditioner on it hasn't proved particularly helpful.
