Storing Oilskin coats?

I have 2, full-length oilskin coats that I have a storage question on. I usually just hang them, out of the way, during summer, but they get dusty and hairy(from my husky shedding) Would an oilskin coat bag be good(such as the one from Kakadu)or should I use some other storage method? Thank for your advice,in advance!

I'd cut a hole in the bottom of a large trash bag and drape it over the coat, on the hanger, like a garment bag. That way you don't have to worry about your oil cloth staining anything it's up against in the closet and you won't ruin a garment bag.

Don't hang it in the closet in among other clothes, they need to breath. Mine started to mildew when stored that way. Cleaned it up, and now it hangs from the rafters with plenty of airflow, no problem.
