here's two of the four I scored this week, the Faun stetson has a grey twin, and I've never seen a hatband like it before, and these are as new, still with the maker's shoptags inside the sweatband. The 3X Stetsons are "Saxon" type, unknown to me previously. I've not come across the seamed crown before. that's real odd.They were made for "Ball & Welch of Melbourne"
I gotta keep the green one, the only fault with it is that bugs ate the feather, and the felt underneath it, but a new feather would cover it no problem.
I also just found this Australian CASBEN label beauty and restored it with original MOP buttons, it's safely dated to late 50's. it has FOUR separate hand screens on it, which I've only ever seen in the very finest classic hawaiians of the era and then only rarely,
