Stevens Hat Company...

Hello all,

I just got my first Fedora, and its a Stevens. The lining of the hat says, "America's comfort Hat, Since 1917, Stevens, Delux".

Any one know anything about the Stevens hat company?

The Stevens hat factory was located in St Joseph ,MO . In 1970, they took over the Stetson label and manufactured it for Stetson until they moved production to Garland , TX . The former factory was sold off a few months ago .

A nice working guys hat

Is basicly what they were. I have a top of the line navy blue beaver blend Stevens I like. But the snap in the brim is too radical. Art Fawcett knows about the company

If the brim on your hat goes down too much ,bring it to a renovator .They can flange the brim and make it flatter .
