Steve S Experimental Black ANJ-3 USN Jacket Size 48

Having dipped my toe into the world of custom USN jackets relatively recently with a G-1 / M-422A type, I felt the need for a new project & wanted to put it in a safe pair of hands. Enter Steve S ...Gentleman, artist & all round great Guy!

My wardrobe is almost exclusively made up of Brown leather jackets, something in BLACK was required to restore a color balance. The Wife loves my ELC RW A-2 & I'm on a USN Bi-swing back vibe currently for comfort reasons...an ANJ-3 was deemed to be necessary!! But in BLACK!

Following discussions & support from Steve S in relation to features on the G-1 / M-422A project, I came to the conclusion that he was the man for the job, I wanted him to make me the ANJ-3.

For me the experience has been fantastic with a stunning end result!! Steve crunched my numbers & working from an original size 48 provided me with the following jacket: Something that exceeded the brief in substantial Goat Hide with an amazing look & totally nailed fit.

Put in 8 hours 'graft' today on the awesome ANJ-3...that goat was a 'hard-nut'....will take some investment in time to break in. Forgot to mention the zipper is a NOS Talon.

Wife is kindly going to take some fit pics tomorrow
