Stetson Western 1/8 $225 CONUS

Size 7 1/8

Color: light tan.

Shipped CONUS. Will ship elsewhere but the cost will be additional.

I can’t find a single moth nibble, stain or defect on the hat.

The liner is embroidered with the Stetson logo and it has a faint mark where a small price tag fell off.

The shape of the crease, or crown is the in the form that I received the hat in.

The sweatband is supple, not dry,

and the authenticating reddish, and rectangular Stetson labels are underneath.

The box is not in perfect shape as the glue in some spots has dried, but this can be repaired with additional glue.

Can you school us Vic? What are the additives on this one for that precise dating? I’m thinking the embroidered “Beaver” is part of that.

Yes the beaver is part of it as well is the side seam on the liner, the stamping of the sweatband and it componites. Does the the Stetson logo on the top of the box show stars or maple leaf? Is the sweatband marked at the forehead position?

All it needs is 4 or 5 more “8ths” and I’d snatch it up in a second, and I’m thinning and trying to not buy.

Bowen - I’ve sold over 30 hats so far in February...it doesn’t hurt as much as you might think. Then again, few of the hats I’ve sold were on par with the gems you have.

Yes I do. I have a Stetson Milano straw, real straw not plastic. It came to me as an Open Road. I steamed it and turned it into a tear drop fedora. I’ll post pics of it in a few days, maybe Tuesday. Keep your eye on the flea market.
