I have four black golds now and never had an issue they are amazing. Two are pre-1982 and the others I got after I returned from the Persian gulf war. So funny how much they’ve gone up in price. I never paid more than 90.00 for any of them. I’ve been lucky I guess not to spend rent on a hat .. yet
