Just saw that earlier this year, the John B. Stetson Company filed a new trademark claim for Vita Felt. What this means is anybody's guess, and it's perhaps only a housekeeping measure. If this is to be used in production hats by Hatco, this would be the third iteration of the name Vita Felt. The first from the '40s of course, and the second from the late-'60s applied to a process they developed with DuPont.

Yeah, I figured it was crap when I saw wool. Just wasn't sure if it was a modern thing or the 60's one the Prof mentioned. Or yet another time the term was used...
