The liner was glued on. I just carefully ripped it out. When I removed the liner I saw the inside of the crown wasn't pounced at all.

I put the liner back in. I just tucked it in the sweatband and that's it!

Here's a better "before and after" pic of the hat.

Thanks for the praises. :)

I forgot to mention that I also needed to iron the brim break back in as pulling on the hat made the brim break look a bit "relaxed". Managed to accidentally iron part of my arm as well, leaving a burn mark on it. Haha!

On a side note, on Christmas Eve, my mom gave me this as a present (the left one):

It's a coat rack, but works as a hat rack as well... Still have no idea what that round "hook" is for at the bottom part. We sometimes hang some bags on the middle row.

I think the bottom hook is for umbrella use!

Ooooohhhh... you're probably right. That's the most logical use for it as far as my mind can think of. I swear, we were all staring at it and wondering what it was for.

Congrats on the improvement on the reblocking! It made a huge difference. I have kicked around the idea of reblocking a hat myself. I do have a couple of questions if you don't mind. First, how did you make your foam hat block? Second, how did you get the brim break back on your hat using an iron? Also, do you have any idea how tall the crown is, either open or once its creased?
Thanks and keep up the good work.

I used styrofoam. I bought a big styro block which was 1inch thick. Cut and stacked together then glued together.

I didn't measure the crown height, but just by eyeing it, I would say it's about half an inch shorter than my Fed IV (after reblocking).
