Hi, Anj -- you beat me to it! I was going to point out that I had started a thread on that topic aways back, and it looks like you found it. From a style standpoint, there is very little difference between a Strat and an OR to my eye. Were I to walk into a hat store today and see them side by side, I would essentially see them as the same style, and I would choose the OR over the Strat since I prefer a slightly wider brim in this style. Aside from a wider brim, I think the other main difference is that ORs came in a much broader array of qualities of felt, whereas the Strat was essentially a Royal Stetson (although something tells me that someone here once found a Strat in a Royal Deluxe).
