Hello there! I am new here and was wondering if anyone could give me any information on this Stetson. It was found in an estate after the owner had passed. I dug around on here and got a little information. It doesn't have any tags under the sweat band only the numbers 92900 printed on it. Thanks in advance!

The Stetson No. 1 Quality was Stetson's entry level western and this one was probably produced in the mid 50's to sometime in the 60's. I have one very similar to yours and behind the sweat is a 1958 price tag of $13.95. As to the actual model, who knows? Stetson was notorious for labeling quality levels but not models. The actual model can sometimes be found looking through the scans of old western store catalogs. Most of us with similar hats just refer to them as skinny string Westerns. Denver Dry Goods sold a lot of hats. They're often seen around here and in the vintage market. Nice hat.
