Stetson New York Excellent quality Hat sized 57 fits 58 or 7 1/4

I purchased this from a Stetson store. It was a promo hat on the floor. It is the excellent edition that is 100% beaver. It’s marked size 57 but I am a true 7 1/4 and it fits me perfectly. Color is Tobacco. Brim 2 5/8.Asking $150 shipped. PayPal f&f.

This hat deserves a bump. The 100% beaver used in this hat is as close as you will find to top tier vintage hats. The color is glorious with great saturation. I can also second that these modern Stetson open crown hats run a bit on the large side.

Agreed. I have one of the Phantom Gray ones, and it is a really nice hat. On the sizing, every one of the newer Stetsons I have, were a bit too big when I first got them. Most if not all, have shrunk enough in time, that I could remove any sizing I had added. Still, a really nice hat.
