Well I sent back my natural open road and exchanged it for the sage. I like this one a lot.
This brim is 3" on the sides

Sheplers replied back about my inquiry as to if and when they would be re stocking the Sage.
They said ... Unfortunately, at this time this is a item the manufacturer has discontinued.

I found one stockist with most sizes but it comes up to $150 with shipping.
Anyone know if indeed Stetson has stopped making these or someone with a price that's worth taking the plunge.
Size 7 1/8.

Howdy all!
I think this might be my first post here...
Can anyone tell me if Stetson hemp hats can handle getting wet?

Are you talking a bit of rain or a long term soaking? I don’t own a hemp Open Road but I do own a couple of its cousins: the hemp Stratoliners. They have held up fine in the rain, but I’ve never had them out in the weather when it’s bucketed.

I live in Florida so I need a hat that can take a drenching!

I have washed my hemp Strats in a bucket of soapy water several times with no ill effects..actually improves the quality IMO.
The results have been that it’s clean and softer. The color also is muted somewhat, but that could be mostly due to sun fade.
