Outstanding Bond!!!Here’s a 1940s version of the Flagship model that came with a cheesy 15/16 petersham ribbon on it and which I dutifully removed and swapped out for a vintage 1 1/2 contrasting grosgrain ribbon. I don’t know why they would have called this the “flagship” model and then put a cheesy Petersham doll ribbon on it?
I was instinctively drawn to a wider ribbon look when I saw how great the ribbon looked on the tall rakish crown of the hat. I feel that the Copper colored ribbon really accents the color of the felt now in a new way or should I saw resto-mod as some refer to those things vintage and modern.
Mint Flagship model 7 3/8 with unreeded sweat, embroidered liner. Triple stitched underwelt brim edge. No flaws.
Hope you guys like it.
