THE HAT HAS HIS NAME INSCRIBED ON THE INSIDE. IT HAS THE CERTICATE OF AUTHENTICITY FROM STETSON INSIDE THE CASE WITH THE SEAL. ALSO WITH THIS ITEM IS A INSURANCE TAKEN FOR THE HAT IN OCT. 7TH 1941 FROM UNITED MUTUAL FOR $150.00 AND A MEDAL GIVEN TO GENERAL MAYOR MANUEL LOPEZ MIGOYA THAT READS CORPORACION NACIONAL DE ASISTENCIA PUBLICA ( NATIONAL CORPORATION OF PUBLIC ASISTENCE ) THIS IS PRE-CASTRO 1940'S AROUND WORLD WAR II, BATISTA ERA.
