Stetson colors

OK, I did a search and got 820,965,432 hits. I don't have that kind of time to sift through each thread.

As to Stetson colors, is bark a shade of green or a shade of brown, or what? Gray?

"Bark" is actually a kind of khaki green that has some brown in it, as well. Here's a Stetson Gun Club/Cedar Creek lid in bark:

If you've ever seen Art's Pecan, it's very close. It's a very neutral color that mixes a nutty green, light brown, and gray. I had one for many years.

A picture's worth a thousand words...

"Pecan" is a color of felt produced by Winchester. It is almost identical to "Bark" -- the difference being that Pecan is a couple ticks on the scale in the direction of brown, whereas Bark is a couple of ticks in the direction of green.
