Stetson Beach Comber

Recently purchased a Stetson Beach Comber. Don't know a thing about them. In fact, I'd never even heard of the model.

If you look at the ribbon treatment.... that dark line at the bottom is actually a dark cord at the base of the thing not a wind trolley string, either).

I have no idea why the lining was so special that it deserved a tag...

So, mid to late 1940s? Early 50s?

A couple of interesting differences right off. Mine is a raw edge, the one you linked has a stitched edge of some type. The one you linked also had a wind trolley string. Mine does not.
