Someone had the foresight to rescue people's snapshots dating from the teens up to the 1960s. These photos really give you a feel of everyday life back then (not the glossed-over Hollywood version). Photos from vacations, weddings, birthday partys, picnics, those bad, out of focus ones, ones that accidently cut the subject's head off, the funny ones where the photographer's shadow gets in the way. Heck, there's even the ones when, to remember an important national event, people would snap a picture of their tv screen (I think a lot of people did that to remember JFK's funeral). Some pictures are truely bizarre and mind-boggling. It's definitely worth a look at.
