Just purchased this the other day. It was NOS. There is a 2" scratch on the back. Wore it one time to the grocery store. Fit is spot on. I just decided i don't like the cut with knits. Size is 38. For reference, i am 5'10" 150#. 36 suit coat. 14.5 32/33 dress shirt. $145 shipped conus.

Found an ebay seller who carries a few of this nos Golden Fleece, tempted. Would you say the leather is thick steer? Or the paper like type of the 70s? The Cooper/Leathershop jackets evolved from thick with Talon to “angel skin” with Ideal or YKK from the 60s to the 70s

I’m guessing that’s who i bought it from. Nice jacket. I just decided i don’t care for the way the leather stops high and finishes with the knits. In the long run it saved me $ on an aero A2. If you’d like to pm me a phone number or email i’d be happy to send video.
Otherwise i’d say neither thick nor paper.
