So I'm sure most of us have heard that the 24th installment of the James Bond franchise will be called Spectre, and will make it's debut next November.
I had a thought this morning that perhaps one of the qualities that make the movies so enduring is that Bond and assorted cast members all dress like adults, and we have few examples of that in cinema these days. Most men appear in the movies (and real life) to be still incubating, even up to and past middle age, wearing shorts, t-shirts and sweats as normal every-day attire.
What are your thoughts about what make the Bond franchise a cultural icon?
