I don't know if these qualify as spectators, but they're two-toned and I kind of like them for casual wear.

A little pricey for me, alas, but I was wondering what you guys think of them. They're from Cole Haan and cost $325.

Brooks Brothers has these on sale for $199:

Best specs I've seen widely available in the US since AE quit making the brown Broadstreet. The white part is even nubuc, like it should be!

Great price well worth the money.
I bought a pair of these last year and they are my favorite shoes. Comfortable and look great. I wore mine last weekend and they never fail to get compliments. They are easy on the feet as well as the eyes.

Picked these up from the sale rack at BCF this weekend.
Georgio Bruitini=$25.00. They seem pretty nice.

I've been browsing through this thread. I wonder how these Georgio's are holding up. There is a suit store by the house that just about specializes in Georgio Bruitini. For a shoe that I'm just gonna wear on some weekends and for Spring and Summer I was wondering if they're any good? They do look purty in the picture.

I have to use my camera phone. Here goes my new Stacy Baldwins, I bought them off of ebay. I went to the grocery store with them and they felt great. Had quite a few people turn their heads to look.

I went to a nearby suit warehouse and they had these Hugo Vitellis. They are along the line of the Georgio Bruitini. Thought I'd get them just to see how long they last me. They have an alligator print and plastic soles.

I have three pairs of these Brown/White, Tan/White and Plain old black, the soles wear out rather quickly, but they are a nice shoe, very comfortable compared to expensive shoes I have purchased, and such good value, you can not go wrong they don't have the black and white available, oh and they smell strongly of, is it petrol?

Spectator shoes are impossible to get in Germany so I had to get them abroad.

Since I was short on time I ordered a cheap pair in UK (nearby, inside the EU, no customs border):

Those are by After Six (Made in China - All Man-Made Materials) and I bet they are completely synthetic.
I ordered them in size 13 but I forget that UK 13 is US 14 but I had luck because they fit perfect.
40 Pounds was a good price but the shipping...

I wanted the black and white shoes from Giorgio Bruitini but although it`s an italian brand you won`t find them anywhere in Europe!
I could get them from USA but not in five weeks (shipping duration, customs procedure) so I had to go for the cheap ones.

As I introduced my mobster outfit to more of my friends the wife of a friend was totally enthused by my shoes and the first question was where I got them.
I must have made a good impression because at her birthday she requested that I appear in my suit - normally we wear just our regular clothes at such occasions . :D

Yesterday I visited the may week again (one week food and music from the afternoon till night) and wore my full mobster outfit.

As I wandered around suddenly someone plucked rapidly at my coat from behind and as I turned around I saw two tastefully dressed ladies at the end of their 40`s and the first thing that they did was asking me a question:
Where do you got those shoes?! lol

At those may week festivities you see some suits and some hats and caps but you won`t see someone who looks like a vintage US mafiosi every day.

Those shoes are a real showstopper and the most stupid comment I heard yesterday was:
Oh look, Luigi shoes! shakeshead

Luigi Shoes? WTF? :kick:
Do they look like these?

Wore my Stacy Baldwins today. I was very impressed with the shoe. The leather sole and the rubber heel made for a good firm grip as I walked. The black leather of the shoe is slightly rigid around the tongue area but the shoe is faily soft and is comfortable. I may even break fashion rules and wear it on fair days of Fall and even Winter. Rules are made to be broken.;)

Well, it set me back $5 but I finally now own a nice fitting pair of AE Broadstreets. :) That's a couple bucks more than I usually like to spend on vintage shoes but I had to go ahead and pry them outta' the wallet to get a pair this old and in this good of condition. :D

Tom78, great medallions on the toes! Good choice of socks too.

For anyone who is interested, Georgio Brutini shoes are available around here for as little as $29.95 from discount outlets, and I bought a pair in solid black for work...the leather is soft and takes a shine well, the soles wear like iron, and for a really cheap shoe, they have given amazing service. They are now my rainy-day shoes for work, so the Allen Edmonds and Johnston & Murphy Aristocrats don't get wet.

I'm no fan of cheap shoes generally, but spectators may be an exception...if you only wear them a couple of times a year, why have several hundred dollars tied up in them?

Stoneface, the singular for a "mob guy" is mafioso, plural is mafiosi. I work at a funeral home in a predominantly Italian neighborhood and I'm surrounded by wanna-be mafiosi and their goombata.
