Sourcing Metal Eyelets for fabric

I am looking for a source of the Metal Eyelets that are used in fabric. Particularly, the ones that are used for ventilation holes in hats. I would like to increase the diameter and number of these holes in my Filson Original Tin Cloth hat. The Original on has two and are smaller in diameter than the packer hat. You can see the comparison in these images.

Look in Sunbody thread. Some folks added eyelets to the Sunbody palm hats. Those will most likely work for fabric as well...

what I did...

was checked around the local crafts shops for them. I had to go to both Michaels and JoAnnes to find both the eyelets themselves and a pack that had the tool. I don't know how much luck you'll have finding the right size/color you need though [huh] Of course, I'm sure you could find something to match online, it just takes longer and costs more.

I believe they are known as GROMMETS and camping supply places used to have them and the installation tool. Also possibly the shoemaker, shoe repair place.
