Auctioning a nice example of a vintage gentleman's Tyrolean-style hat.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-P...448547?pt=UK_Vintage_Hats&hash=item2328634063
Features 2 1/2" brim, unbashed crown height of c. 6" (c. 5" at the front, sloping to 4" at the rear, when bashed), triple cord hatband, soft leather sweatband, and green satin liner. Size UK 6 7/8, European 56cm, US 7.
Has been gently worn, by the evidence of the hatband, and remains in good condition overall, subject to a spot of loss of nap to the upper and lower surface of the brim. Slightly asymmetrical crown.
A very attractive hat, perfect for the US 1930s collegiate/Preppy look, or for country or informal town wear.
I am offering 10% off final auction price for forum members, plus I am willing to ship it to US members via standard Airmail for £7, a substantial reduction on the International Signed-For rate.
