Interestingly enough, there's a Banana Republic vest (and matching jacket) up on Ebay right now with that feature. No trousers, or I might bid on it.

I'm with Jovan on this one--not a fan of the keyhole for buttonholes that don't have buttons.

My new Jos. A Banks DB has keyholes on both lapels, which I'm not wildly pleased with. But I can live with it for a $150 suit that fits well.

Indeed. It looks so much cleaner, besides the functionality argument. There are some Neopolitan tailors that maintain it is correct, however. Personally, even if I got a functional buttonhole on the underside of a sportcoat lapel, I'd still get the lapel hole straight. I have one with this, and it works fine and looks clean when not in use.
