I like this one a lot - I especially like the hat - and the rake of the hat - on the guy in the middle. Very 40s looking hat, even though it was taken in the 60s. Fashion wise, we were usually at least a decade behind the US back then.

And they're wearing the ubiquitous heavy tweed coat. My granddad wore these. Man, they are heavy :eek: .

My wife Siobhan's parents immigrated to the US from Ireland in the 60's (short stop in Canada). It's a beautiful place, but getting partly ruined by the EU (IMHO). I love it there and the people are fantastic.

Any ideas as to what color this gentleman's tie would be? It looks silver, but for all I know it could be grey, blue, white, etc. What would be a common tie color for a man of this class/profession?
