I'm looking for a pair of brown (work) boots from the golden era or for some that look like that! My size is 9- 9 1/2 :kick:

I can suggest Redwing boots. You can see what they have at redwingshoes.com. They have alot of golden era looking boots. You can even pick up a pair on ebay that are well worn.

I got a nice pair of Army Cap Toe Russet Service Shoes from WWII Impressions for $150.00. Their getting worn and scuffed now, so their looking really nice.

I'm liking my LL Bean Maine Engineer Boots. Pretty much the same design since the 1920's (now by Chippewa), around $100.

Got mine on right now. Pair of loose jean, plaid shirt and tan suspenders, brown herringbone 8 1/4. Looks like I stepped right outa 1938...

I polished them with cordovan kiwi and now they look relly lived in.

I got a pair of those Chippewas too...

Can't say I like them that much though. The price was right however. Made in China by slave labor.
