This is a gorgeous RLPL Made-in-England (by Chester Barrie) black and cream houndstooth jacket. The fabric is 80% cotton and 20% cashmere with a fantastic hand. This strikes me as an extremely versatile fabric, wearable almost year round.
Cut is fairly dramatic Savile Row style, with significant waist suppression (though some of that could be let out) and shoulder roping. Double vents. Construction quality is also fantastic, typical for RLPL with an original retail of $1500 or more. Full-canvas construction, hand sewing all over the place, horn buttons, the works.
It's in fantastic condition. No problems whatsoever that I can see.
