Very soft fine suede-like finish. Medium neutral Gray color. 5-1/2" open crown with a 2-5/8 wide brim with what I think is a glued overwelt, although it looks like a Cavanagh edge. Good and bad characteristics for this hat. Virtually no signs of wear, but moths have made their mark in a number of locations. Decide for yourself if this is acceptable.
