A beautiful condition English Gentleman's Dinner Suit from the 1920's, by Barkers of Kensington (London).
The dark Barrathea wool fabric and silk lining shows no moth nips nor tears at the usual areas of underarm, crotch, sleeves and bottom of the pants.
As you can see from the photos, the jacket has the wonderful silhoette / hour-glass tailored cut to the waist, whilst the shoulders are typical of the 20's Gentleman's cut jacket, showing finer narrower shoulder padding than the later 30's and 40's trend.
Beautiful silk covered buttons on the sleeves and to the front. Silk facing to the Peak Lapels. Button fastening fly, with exterior buttons for braces/suspenders.
The trousers/pants are tapered towards the shin and ankle, as was the 20's fashion, with a good high fishtail back to keep the kidneys warm!
Gentlemen, this is a fine, fine garment for those who enjoy the Era of the 20's and have been looking for a 'great condition' wool DJ/TUX from that interwar Golden Era Period.
ALSO...it comes in it's original box (see photos) and original 20's tissue paper - Amazing eh!!

JACKET: Would ideally fit a chest 38". Armpit to Armpit is 20.5".
Top of arm at sleeve join to cuff is 24"
Across back of shoulders (from sleeve join to sleeve join) is 17.5"
Back drop from botton of collar to jacket bottom is 29".
PANTS:
Waist is 34" (room to take in).
Inside leg: 30.5"
Outside Leg: 42.5" (a good rise to these pants).
