I have had luck in the past with old Stetsons in 7-5/8 being close to fitting my 7-3/4 head. On those hats I needed a slight strech.

I got this Whippet today from Cookie and unfortunatly it is not fitting on my head like some of my other 7-5/8's do.

I don't want to strech it, so I am putting it back up on the lounge for sale.

Well, that is indeed a rarity.

Still, it's amusing to think of the early days of the FL, when those were just dusty old hats in the attic we'd trade around for $20-25...
