Vintage Cal Leather Black Horsehide LAPD CHP Jacket 1960s Sz 42 44 46 it’s marked a 48 Long. It’s Large or Extra Large and comes with mouton Fur Collar and Sam brown duty belt. Obtained From an estate sale Here’s a super nice 1960s era vintage Cal-Leather LAPD CHP motorcycle jacket with the detachable real black mouton fur collar and original hand tooled Sam brown duty belt in excellent vintage condition with no flaws. This jacket is very heavy and appears to have been custom made guesses are in the mid late 1960s perhaps early 70s. Jacket comes equipped with the original hand tooled black leather double prong belt buckle This is Cal Leather Sam brown Duty Belt marked size 48 which is size of the jacket chest, not of the belt waist. Size is indicated on the inside pocket of the jacket as 48 L but It runs small.

These sturdy jackets were custom built for each new owner by Cal-Leather in Ventura, CA. This jacket is built incredibly well with stiff and thick black horsehide leather and the jacket is quite heavy reflecting this. The inside lining is a smooth black satin and it also features an inside breast pocket for CC with leather welts. There is no damage anywhere on the jacket. All seams are intact and all the original Serval zippers work. The original Cal Leather Sam Browne duty belt with chrome brass buckle shown with the jacket is included. The belt and buckle, it's an original CAL Sam brown hand tooled basket weave duty belt marked 48 . This Cal Leather classic LAPD motorcycle jacket is a size Large or extra large 42 44 46 48 depending on your build is marked a Long or vintage size 48L and is in excellent vintage condition with No flaws.
