(SOLD) 1936 Sovenir book on King Edward 8th (just before he abdicated the throne!)

I'm parting with this very rare, full of photos, good condition 1936 book on Edward VIII (8th) who gave up the throne of Great Britain for the love of the American, Wallis Simpson.

Lots of rare photos of the new King in India on safari, in Africa..etc. Great condition and on the 70th anniversary year too!

Also goes into his father George V and his brothers..etc. A lovely collectors' item.

I have a policy of offering items to the Lounge members first and if they are not interested, 'only then' do I go to Edward de Bay for auction.

Price for this unique piece of history at a time when the world 'thought' that Edward would be king for the rest of his life (£80 UK sterling), little did they know the controversy just around the corner!
