Watched a movie where the dialog in a scene “was very long & fast”.

The close-caption was misspelling the words or parts
of the words were missing which made no sense.

Who ever was doing the close-caption must’ve been
very tired because soon after they started typing instead...

What he said!” :D

All reality shows are stupid & the audiences aren’t exactly the brightest stars in the sky & so need all the help they can get.......on the bright side, subtitles do imply that some of them may be able to read.

Ouch!
I used to watch “reality” shows!

But being a cameraman, I realized something right away.

In one reality show, are two guys (buying junk & converting it to $$$)

Supposedly this is the "first time" ever at this location. The guys
narrate that this person is not fond of strangers & they are nervous.

The camera tracks the guys walking up to the door step & knock on the door.
The next camera shot is from the inside of the house to show
the two guys who are asking if the junk is for sale.

Unless this person has his own cameraman following him around his house
all day.
Where did that camera shot come from & who's doing it? ;)

I think it's pretty obvious now that reality TV is anything but real. Everything on these shows is staged......it's only the editing that give them any sense of spontaneity. They are TV's equivilent of fast food.......can be addictive even though you forget you've watched a show 5 minutes after & you don't ask too many questions about how they're made nor why they all have the same formula. :D Just as fast food is for the non discerning palete, reality shows are for the non discerning viewer, who is not only comfortable with repetition but has to be reminded every 2 minutes what occured 2 minutes previously.

Cubs swept by the Cards. Excellent play by St Louis and a high pitch count run up on Chicago's bullpen; particularly Arrieta, who was held to five innings-good tactic by the Cards.:(

In a similar note.
The Wimbledon matches (tennis) is just around the corner.
I recall when the event & commentating was presented live from British broadcasters.
They knew enough to understand that if you were watching these matches, you had an
idea of the game & rules.
There was great moments of just silence as the point went on with just a word of ...
“great shot that!” at the end of the point.

Today the commentating from the Johnny Macs is such that every single point is dissected
& over explained . Even during the point, they will discuss other things not relevant to the
game in progress.
If there was a way to tune out the verbal garbage & just have the natural sound
of the match would be simply grand!

This is trivial & not many may care for this game, but to an avid player, this is annoying! :)

I've had a couple of those, computer blocked by an official police notice informing me I've been consulting illegal sites (how do they know :D) & that I have to pay a fee to have my computer 'unblocked'
They're easy enough to remove....I start the computer on safe mode with networking support/ command prompt which will give you access, albeit limited, to both internet & certain computer programs, download ' Roguekiller' if it isn't already in your files, run a scan which usually gets the b******, then I run a scan of my usual useless anti-virus thingy, followed by a system restauration to a date before the infection. You may have to tweak a few things & check out your programs to make sure you don't have any uninvited guests lurking about.

Thank you. I am looking into this Roguekiller.

Johnny Mac has been annoying as far back as he's been playing professionally, and probably before that, too.

Indeed, on the 27th......champagne & strawberries at the ready. :)
I'd like to see Andy Murray win the gentlemen's singles but it will probably be Djokovic.
Not sure about the women's since Serena lost the french open......Muguruza may suprise us again.

There’s actually no need for outside sources to remove unwanted pop-ups,
virus clean-up ads etc-etc.

You need to go to the folders that contain the source or link & delete.

Be aware that some apps although very handy to use, may contain
pop-up ads, even though you have taken steps to remove.
Once you subscribe or download again, you risk having them come back
into your system.

If the pop-up ad locks your computer.
Shut down & restart with the “Safe-mode” .
Go to utilities & disk utilities to clean up your drive.
Make sure you first back-up before doing any maintenance.

If Murray can contain the demons within...he just might.
But it will be interesting if he comes up against the “human wall” (Nole)

The women is up for grabs. (no pun intended)

I will miss Sugarpova though! :p:Do_O;)

We all will, I still miss Steffi, she always made my heart beat a little faster whenever she walked onto a court.

I got to hit with Steffi when she was #1 & came to my city.

Very soft spoken, almost shy, not conceited at all.
A very sensuous lady in person.
On the court she was just the opposite with her strokes.
Very aggressive.

I have a photo somewhere, if I can find it , I’ll post it.

I’m not into autographs, but she signed my shirt sleeve for good luck when I was playing in
a local tennis tournament.
This was all before she met Agassi.

The next day, I got Monica Seles to sign my other sleeve. :)

We just finished doing an interview.

I don’t do autographs, but in this case, I made an exception.
It’s not everyday I run into the #1 tennis player in the world. ;)

You were a fan of the late, great, Mr Dan, Oh I say, Maskell, I think we all were. Wimbledon fortnight is sacrosanct viewing for my missus, and it's the only tennis that I see all year. The banal comments that today's broadcasters utter will often result in us watching the game without sound.
