We now have several craft breweries here and an annual festival that's attended by craft brewers from a all over the country. We also have more engineers per capita here than just about any other city in the country, and some of those engineers have opened up one of the microbreweries. Not to denigrate any engineers but they can sometimes go a little long when they get in depth about the minutiae of everyday life or the things that make it work. The old, "give me the time, not clock building instruction" thing. Around here there seems to be a confluence of the two. I run into too many of the craft beer drinkers that try to "sell" me on why I should be drinking a particular beer, talking about nuance and subtleties and undertones, and look down on me as if I'm a lesser being when I say I've tried it and don't like it. When I tell tell them I drink PBR, they usually run quickly away.
