My guess would be the black label Windward is from the 40's purely judging by the font and simpler look of that label compared to the white version.

Thanks, 1940s was my assumption, but was hoping to pin down a more accurate date regarding the exact years the different labels were in use. I would go post on the vintage leather jacket forum, but alas, I lost my non-yahoo email address.
