Hello Everyone,

I think I can contain myself after this. Some of you might know that that I got my civilian half belt probably a month ago and I have been wearing that since, but A2 was always back of my head, so I pulled the trigger on one. There are so many variety of A2 cuts, that I went with Eastman slender(size 38) against everyone suggestion of choosing size 40.

Now, for the fit, I don't know if it looks tight to you, but there's room even for a light jumper. Yes, it's a bit restrictive coz of the high armhole, but I have no plan on playing rugby wearing it.

Now that I have a cafe racer, half belt and an A2, I think I can grow old with those.

Here's couple of fit pic (don't mind the cap :p)

Very nice indeed. Sure it will look even better once it has relaxed a bit. Lovely colour too.

^agree 100%. This style seems like a difficult fit but you have nailed to the ground. Excellent fit and lovely color.

I am happy with the fit too. But its very light jacket, compared to my other steer hide jacket. The zipper (crown) worries me a lil though. Do they hold up fine over time?

Well done on nailing the size, in spite of what others said. It's bang on! And the collar will soften out and it's a keeper for sure. Great choice.
And the Crown should be fine for the long haul as long as you treat it with care and pay attention when you use it.

great jacket and perfect fit! which Eastman did you get? I got the original manufacture Star Sportswear 28557 in Seal Brown just 5 weeks ago... I wear it around the house to break it in and slept in it a couple of times! LOL! already its taking on a great shape and getting softer and easier to put on and move around in. the horsehide will relax over time and feel more comfortable than what you are experiencing right now. the tightness around the arms and upper back will ease a bit over time. I love mine. just two weeks ago I acquired a John Chapman (Goodwear leather co) Aero 16160 in Russet... used... already broken in for years but still in perfect shape... its like butter and wraps around me like the tender arms of a nurturing girlfriend! LOL!

Fit looks great. Eastman still make a nive jacket, though we don't see so many of them round here as once we did. Lovely looking leather; which model is it?

I was a bit torn between Eastman and BK. BK's liberty HH finish wear made be curious. Star Sportswear was my 2nd choice, but I would definitely would've needed size 40 on that. This is Eastman's in house A2 called Slender model in seal brown. The new leather doesn't really bother me much because I got an heavy steer hide half belt about a month ago, compared to that A2 is nothing.:p .

I know Goodwear is the most regarded one, but they were out of my budget too. I wanted to go with the cheapest option just in case tings doesn't fit they way I wanted.
Here's a closer look at the grain and tag.
