Smooth Italian Horsehide - aero

Hello,

Do you have any experience with the aero smooth italian horsehide? There are almost zero information out there. I am bit worried that it could not have enough grain after some time and that it is just to light.

There is just not enough information in what you originally posted to answer a question meaningfully. And "too light" and "Could have not enough grain" are both subjective topics.

I am not aware of this leather, but I do not typically look at Aero's website often (so I don't get tempted by other purchases) so I probably do not have the lates & greatest info.

Why not just ask them (Aero) directly about it?

Do you mean the lightweight HH offered by Epaulet for their Aero jackets? I don't know if that is what you mean, but I was wondering about that offering here recently. It doesn't look like Vicenza, and I am wanting a more lightweight jacket. I have no experience with it and was wondering how it wore.

Never heard of them...but I will say that their models are wearing perfectly fitted Aero leather jackets and the price seams decent too.

I suspect Aero have a number of such rarer hides in stock - in limited quantities so all you have to do is ask them.

I think I have a couple of samples sent from Aero in a medium weight non vicenza. It is not a CXL type leather.

I dug them up and the samples are actually russet jerky and dark seal brown jerky. Slightly thicker than the Vicenza but nicer in my opinion, with shinier appearance. About 1.3mm thick.
