I bet it's a lot more affordable, Hudson. These days a nice haircut and style can cost upwards of $50 even here, and closer to $200 in a big city like New York. Paisley, I wish we had an Aveda school here! I love their work & their products.
We do have a London Tea Room in my neighborhood, run by two sweet English people, which serves a cream tea with sandwiches & all the fixings for $30. That seems like a very reasonable fee to pay for being pampered and treated nicely. Unfortunately they have a "no costume" policy so I might have to tone down my customary late '30s outfit. I wonder whether they would believe me if I told them that in my universe, this is everyday gear, not a costume??
