SM Wholesale still in business? Sizing questions....

I e-mailed a request to SM Wholesale for further fit information on one of their N1 Deck coats. I've been waiting for a reply for a few weeks although without results. Are they still in business? I know things are different w/ the Covid although surprised with the lack of reply. Are their coats pretty true to size?
Thanks,

Thanks for the feedback. While I really like the appearance of the coat, I'll see where it goes.

I contacted them on October regarding the sizing of their boots, then again on November. They haven't replied to me so I decided not to order anything..

Thanks for the heads up on this.
I've decided to bypass them and have sent a message to Buzz Rickson's
for further information on their N-1 Deck Coat.

SM Wholesale is definitely still in business. I ordered an extra-small 2nd pattern Tanker Jacket from them, but found myself “swimming” in it. Placed a call and left them a voicemail to arrange an exchange of sorts. None other than Steve McColgan himself returned my call within the hour and told me to ship my jacket back with a $20 check for shipping costs. I advised Steve that I was relatively local to their shop and asked if I could swing through for the exchange. Steve responded that a visit wouldn’t be a problem. I found Steve to be a no-BS, old school-kind of guy. In a modern age when e-mails are the norm, I believe Steve prefers the old-fashioned telephone call. If you have questions regarding their products, don’t hesitate to reach out to them via the phone. Steve may not get to your e-mails, but he will definitely get your call (he answered one of my calls while he was climbing a ladder to access merchandise on the steel shelves in the warehouse!)!

I ended up spending an hour at their shop, chatting with Steve. SM Wholesale is literally small business that ships their wares worldwide (I found it interesting that German uniforms were being shipped to European countries). From what I witnessed, it was just Steve, a tailor (a gifted one at that!), a shipping clerk, and a stocking clerk. My experience with SM Wholesale was an overwhelmingly positive one that left me being a customer for life. I will post details of my experience soon!

Checked the site and yeah.. They do all the SS memorabilia without any issue as well huh? Swastikas and everything. The full alpaca lining N1 is pretty nice though. Some engineer boots as well heh.
