Sleeping w/gloves on?

I was wondering if any ladies do the old tradition of sleeping with moisturizer & gloves on their hands. I've considered it since this cold weather zaps the moisture right outta my hands and cuticles unless I apply my Nivea cream every morning! I'm just not sure the gloves would actually stay on with the way I sleep. ;)

Oh, yes, indeed. I keep the moisturiser and the gloves in my bedside cabinet at the ready, at times doing socks as well. The gloves always stay on, but often the socks are off! Always makes me think of Doris Day...

I haven't tried it but I would say I put hand cream on over ten times a day - I have one with me at all times - Neutrogena Norwegian Formula (SPF 25) is the best for really dry hands....

I do when my excema get bad which it does more in the winter. I put on a thick hand cream not the lame pump stuff that doesn't work. then I put on the gloves and socks but funny thing they are always off in the morning and I don't remember taking them off but it does still help despite the fact that they are not on all night.

I do when my hands are really dry, in the last few days the snow here has chapped my lips and hands and I found that good old fashioned hand cream in cotton gloves made a difference last night. I do the foot thing once or twice a month, more in summer.

I have a pair of gloves by ecotools. They are supposed to be made of bamboo or some eco-friendly fibre. They work well, but I find they don't stay on. I may try sewing an elastic around the cuffs to fix that problem. As for what moisturizer I use with them, it is normally either Green Beaver's Cranberry hand lotion or sometimes I use what was a failed attempt at making pomade (doesn't work well as a pomade but is a great moisturizer!).

i haven't tried the gloves yet since my hands aren't too dry right now, but i recently started using dream cream by lush on my hands and as a night cream for my face and it works really well... it's actually a body lotion, but quite light so it's absorbed into my skin quickly, even though it's very moisturizing!

Handling as much paper as I do on a daily basis can suck what little moisture I have right out, so wearing gloves after applying moisturiser is a must for me during the winter nights...I use a simple pair of cheap cotton gloves and pure, unrefined shea butter (not the nicest smelling stuff in the world, but it works wonders for me). The gloves are off by morning, but somehow I've trained myself to leave them neatly beside my pillow instead of dropping them on the floor! lol

I SHOULD, but I can't bring myself to do it. I've noticed that I always sleep with my hands against my face, and this has resulted in a big ugly patch of irritation that just won't go away! I think gloves would be good for that too, another thing to consider.
