The brim width is 2 5/8". The crown open measures 5 1/4"... as creased it is 4 1/2" tall.

Allen, I have an old Stetson from close to the same era that appears to be very much like your Strat...though the crown of your Strat may be taller. The colors appears to be the same. Same ribbon. Same binding. But mine claims to be a Playboy!

A puzzler, AF... would guess that some parts have been swapped, though nothing in the body, brim binding or even the ghost of what was perhaps another ribbon at one time suggest that it was ever a Stetson Playboy.

Circumference is about 22.5"... I measure 6 3/8 x 7 7/8.

I have a big hat coming in so I need some room.
