This beauty is going into production soon. It will be made in mid-weight black CX steer and in brown oil pull. Not a big fan of front yokes.... BUT I must say I do like the cut of that jacket. Would look odd on me... but it is tempting.

The jacket fit pictures really show it off well. I believe there might still be amendments to small details, so if you are interested in getting one it's worth heading over to the site to make comments. Simon has also posted photos to show the other leather he intends to use.

What I like more than anything is that it's NOT another "me too" jacket, and clearly a lot of thought has gone into the design. I don't think it's for me, but like the design and keep thinking of the Chrysler building and other art deco designs when I look at the curves.

Man, I'm also gonna jump onboard SJC now. After the fiasco of Lawless Denim (several pairs of pants & jackets unaccounted for), and now Maple Motorcycle Jeans declaring insolvency in between my order, gonna take a jaundiced view of any new online denim/ apparel company going forward. Looks like SJC has their ducks in a row, right? At least never had issues with Gustin so far.

Just to keep you guys in the loop:
The jacket has been tweaked a bit and sent back for samples to be made.
It will be available soon in black and this brown

(1.2mm-1.4mm full grain analine)

Looks great, FYI it's an oil pull leather I think? I'm really excited for this and the other sharp jacket they are producing. They have really good gear at SJC, and I would advise everyone to Pop in for a look, the forum there is a really collaborative,interesting place, and Simon is cracking bloke.

I think in the sub continent? Apparently a pretty reputable company, the price will be kept surprisingly low I believe.( compared to other high end makers)
