Super rare look into a rare bird. A member posted their original SAT A-2 in an even rarer large size. Something like 1k of these were ever made (I don't know the stat!) and less than a handful are said to have survived. Will need to create an account to view. But highly interesting to see this early incarnation of the A-2. May be the last one you ever see! Interesting the lining is almost certainly spun silk rather than cotton, and the pocket linings look to be wool.

Fantastic find! A few of us Reproduction Manufacturers are feverishly documenting all the details to reproduce this historic jacket. Before now, we only had limited pictures to work off of. Now we have the actual jacket!

Quite a few new details have surfaced already including a unique rivet attachment and a strange style of collar stand. These were unknown features until we got a closer look.
