Size 40 1950s Half belt - Pinnacle Brown

Hi all, long time lurker first time poster. I recently came into possession of this 1950s HB from Aero stock - first things first the hide is beautiful. Lovely and soft out of the box, but there does seem to be a certain depth and 'pull up' - not that I have a CXL to compare. It has started to develop some character particularly after getting caught in a few downpours.

Some slightly amateur pictures attached. I did worry it was a little too big with a little overhang in the shoulders, but it seems to sit comfortably and I understand the 1950s HB is intended to be a more relaxed fit? It fits a thicker jumper underneath and I suspect a size down might be too tight across the chest and too short in the sleeves. What is the consensus?

Cool jacket, nice colour. It could have a little more front drop for my taste. But otherwise it looks good, I think.

Love this leather. You got the better batch, nice natural grains.

The fit is as good as the Aeros 50s cut can be imo. I ended up adding an inch to my 50s Highwayman both sleeve and body after wearing two stock length jackets. Congrats!
