Here's my own fine Simonds creation. I've been inspired by all you guys lookin' smooth in your Simonds caps and asked Barry if he might have something in gray. He went fabric shopping and came back with some very nice samples indeed, from which I picked some outstanding vintage-looking material. I couldn't be happier with the fit, the look or the brilliant service from this gentleman.

Here's a closeup of the fabric:

My first Simonds cap, but definitely not my last.

I do love this fabric, too bad our textiles are no longer what they once where or else we could still be able to easily buy something like this. China where our textiles have moved to do offer wonderful fabrics, that's if you can afford their minimum order of 5000 meters.
