im a virgo, and some of the personality traits that i have are very typical of virgos! being detail-oriented, nit-picky and a big worry-wart are definitely true for me, as well as the sensitive digestive system thing. some aspects though, especially the parts about being conservative and into superficial relationships, are completely untrue.

im a bit of a geek for astrology stuff. ever since ive been working in a cubicle ive had a bunch of time to waste on the internet, so i read astrological stuff and birth charts. my boyfriend is a cancer and the description of his sign fits him 100%, even down to the fishy stuff, like appearance and body type. its bizarre!

i love hokey stuff like that, im such a sucker for it all.

While I don't believe the stars govern our lives, I do believe there is a connection between time of birth and personality. The Captain gives us a good example. And I don't think it's simply a matter of picking and choosing the traits that fit because there are different traits ascribed depending on whether you were born early or late in the sign.

For example, for my sign, Sagittarius, it reads:

They have a natural dislike of all things 'prim and proper' and will laugh in the face of supercilious morality.

At first, that certainly doesn't sound like me, BUT I do know that if I'm in a room with (supposedly) prim and proper people I have an urge to annoy them with some very Marx Brothers behavior. (As I did at a 1920s event at the NY Historical Society - Man, those people just didn't know how to have fun.) So in a sense, the above is true.

No, not everyone under a sign will share the same traits, but I think if you read through your own sign, you'll find that you possess at least 85% of them.

This is the enduring appeal of astrology. The traits are so vague and universal that we can see all of them in ourselves. You look at what you're supposed to be like and think: "Yeah i'm like that!" But if you look at da Bull you'll also see things and think: "Yeah, i'm like that!"

Like the people who get huge audiences of people together and tell them what's happened in their life: vague and universal.

Yes! Apart from February and August, I expect normal weather, and I get crazy when my spring is ruined by days of rain, and my autumn is ruined by early snow. I also can't stand when it's 90 degrees out and the stores have the air turned down to 40. Then when it's 40 degrees in the winter, they have the heat turned up to 90.

December 13, and Im ALWAYS complain' that its too hot/cold. But I internaly complain. I also am always thinking of how to maximize space, how to use a room to peak, and how better to do something. I love that form of plroblem solving.

I dont know if this is true for all Saggs, but Im pretty good at reading folks. I am also easy to win as a friend, but will cut you off tute sweet if you screw me over.
