Apprentice Made Aero Highwayman, in Steer:

This is a Highwayman that I bought from Aero that was made from a small number of "Sale" jackets made by a fully qualified machinist from a sample leather that had been sitting around for some time waiting to be sewn together. I am reasonably happy with the fit, although the sleeves could have been an inch or so longer.

Nice to see the steer getting some love. All Aero's hides are great, though many have been overshadowed in the popular imagination by fqhh for some time.

Is Steerhide precisely as watertight as the FQHH?

It weights almost 13 pounds, but I had them hunt down extra heavy steerhide, so I'd imagine its a pound or two heavier than normal. You definitely know your wearing it, but since you have a LW B3, I'm sure you know all about that

It kind of looks like an amped-up version of Aero's new Thunderbay jacket. I'd hazard that, at 13lbs, wearing your jacket is a work out in itself. Looks fantastic!
