Looks like a dinosaur hide. Love the grain the thick Cals develop. You inspired me to take some pics of mine.

This is my red label Cal. Tried to capture the gorgeous longitudinal striations/"stretch marks" on the sleeves. I typically associate these with horse hide, do you guys feel that is correct?

Cat had to get involved once he saw it was photoshoot time.

Mine above is red label too. Those striations on yours do resemble the marks on horsehide Lost Worlds jackets. They might well be a mark of hh.

I have to say, I just got a Vicenza jacket and am so happy I didn’t get it in cxl. The grain is beautiful and it’s the perfect weight and stiffness! That and shinki are my two favorite leathers.
