Nothing much to contribute here. An arran jumper, submariner and a scarf. I have a cashmere watchcap and a half dozen lightweight turtlenecks I wear to the office in winter.
Nice woolen clothing shown here! I love wool. I had to stand for a day's watch in hours long rain with a huge loden blanket thrown over me and my head. Was surprised when coming into the camp tent for warming up to find I was completely dry underneath. I have norwegian and icelandic wool sweaters, some old military wool trousers, said loden blanket and I think over a hundred (!) hand knitted woolen socks... I must do a socks picture tomorrow. They were all made by my mother in law who is a knitting addict and I lack the courage to say "no, thanks, I have enough". Now she went so far to even ask me to bring those with holes in 'em so she can mend them. She can not believe, that I will never have to worry about re-supply when I look into my socks drawers. 15 years of being married and I had to buy extra drawers just because of her.
I am able to build wooden houses beginning with the standing trees, but how someone can knit socks that function in a speed like that is beyond my imagination. I tried hard but failed miserably.
