Don't know if this really belongs in The Display Case, but several of our members (Eyemo, KilroyCD among others) have their own privat War Room with some great collections. Let's see what you got gentlemen!:) Let us in!!!!!

My "War Room" is not so much a whole room, but here it is:

I guesse it clearly shows, that my main interest is the Battle of Britain.

Excellent Soren. My wife would have a fit if I transformed our bedroom in to a war room! All you need now is an original Irvin and RAF dress suit to complete your room.;)

I'll have to do a bit of tidying up before snapping some more photos of my war room. I haven't attacked it with the feather duster in some time.
I'll get some photos up soon.

I am working on it, Andrew;)
Within a couple of weeks there will be a TypeB helmet with oxygen mask etc there too.
(This isn't our bedroom, though - but our sleeping guests have to like it.)

You really should make a RAF fighterpilots (BoB) at readiness. Lying around in deckchairs, playing chess, reading papers.
I have this one from Corgi.

Guesse your lot could do it even better!

1/48th Monogram?

Soren, that Hurricane model looks like a 1/48 scale one I built many decades ago. As I recall it was manufactured by Monogram. One of the best models I ever built. Sadly, it went the way of all plastic. Yours looks impeccable. The whole display is impeccable. Is that an entire library of WW II books?

Thanks. :) It's a diecast from Corgi 1:32 - came with Lewis and groundcrew. Just like the famous photo in the back.
And - yes - besides some very few Disney leftovers after my son left home, they are all WWII - primarily Airwar. And the whole midsection is RAF and Battle of Britain stuff.

I might have posted these before. The home "office". A little outdated as I actually have MORE stuff in here now.

Ah those models hanging from the ceiling brings back memories ! My Bro and I used to lay on our backs in our room and shoot spitwads at them. As I haven't lived with a woman in a decade my whole house is a War room. PRC-77 Radios in one room Enfields in the living room. Books and Books everywhere along with .303 and 8mm ammo spilling out of the closets. My bedroom looks like a surplus store with tubs of Uniforms and a rack of Field Jackets. DVDs don't even go there ! I'm an easy B-Day / X-mas gift "Get him a WWII documentry !". Thanks for posting this thread now I don't feel alone !

Very nice CBI - very nice indeed. Are they plastic models?
And I really like your prints too.

Edit. Just realise that we both have the print "Tally Ho" with 85 RAF Squadron (in your second picture from the top) It is such a great print - with so much Hurricane-action build into it.
The only reason why it's not in my War Room - is that I have it at my office wall!

Yes, its Raymond Baxter. The hanging models (there are 8) are plastic and BIG (2 to 2 1/2 foot wingspans, 1/18 scale). 2 of the 6 smaller ones 1/32 scale (on the shelf are metal). They are mostly all made by Blue Box or 21st Century Toys. The Hurricane is Corgi. Along wiht flight jackets, I collect aviation art prints and otehr WWII aviation stuff. Needing to limit it to WWII but all eras are interesting.

Whoa !!! Mr. Tom

You are outrageously out of control there. That's better'n a Army Navy Surplus. Your stuff isn't beat up or junky! Must have set you back a couple of nites hunting it down. When can we come over for 'vittles'?

Lot's of good War Rooms and thanks for showing them guy's. I have a pitiful example of a wood shop but that's for another topic another time. This is an excellent thread !!!!
